Writing a novel about growing up?

Sounds good. i love self discovery stories. I think you need to have something tragic happen in her life. Aside from the death of the boyfreind. Like maybe one of her sisters (the one who had the baby) runs away leaving the child behind and AJ is the only one who will take care of it. But yeah please write it it sounds so good.
