My tv is acting funny?

i have a 50'' Panasonic model number PT-52LCX65. the tv just recently has developed 2 green spots in the middle of the screen. i have know idea why this has happeneed. i don't know if i should get another tv or just have some handyman come look at it. but i am not trying to pay a grip to get it fixed. is there a easy solution to this problem
